Yeah it seems completely against Sony's normal attitude to memory (they just LOVE their proprietary formats), but considering the, no doubt unanticipated, competition the DS is creating, i wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Not 8GB worth though (divide that by 8, then maybe). One because how many PSP users would ever then need to buy a memory stick, and two, surely that's going to add a completely unnecessary additional cost to the system (no matter who is made to pick up the tab).
